Resting in Cariló

It was a long time ago when we last went to Cariló. Longer than we wanted

But last week my husband surprised me when he asked me: How about spending our anniversary at Cariló?

Of course I loved the idea.  It would be nice to rest the whole weekend, so we stayed in a beautiful holiday villa with  maid service, we had a wonderful and peaceful view of the woods with a large terrace, barbecue, table and lounge chairs.

Carilo is nearly 400 km from Buenos Aires in the south of the province of  Buenos Aires.

It has an exquisite combination of forest and  beach. It seems a charmed and charming little village .
It also has lots of restaurants, cafés and  outdoor shopping malls.

Nature is cared and there are signs that remind us to be silent and protect the environment

I had the opportunity to meet Cali, a French woman who lives in Argentina and has a cooking blog and delights us with her dishes, and who kindly gave us one of her Cannelle, made by herself and tonka bean . It was a very nice afternoon.

It is logical that during our stay in Cariló we ate too much good food, especially in restaurants but one day I made some spinach lasagna stuffed with chicken, oregano, cheese and creamy gratin. Whenever I go, I miss home cooking, so I couldn´t avoid it and I cooked!!

I hope you have enjoyed this weekend escape and have a wonderful week

Sylvia, querida,

Beijoca!
