Cappuccino French toasts

Capuccino French fried This week end I made some French toasts for breakfast, I woke up early and I start to cook to surprise my husband (he loves it). Are quick to made and you may use pain brioche or baguette as well, for best results, but if you had regular bread leftover, you also can use, they works well too It's also extremely easy to make! Espresso Capuccino French toasts Ingredients
  • 3 cups coffee (espresso) and milk sweetened (cold)
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 baguette or pain brioche one day old
  • 2 tablespoon icing sugar
  • 350 g whipping cream
  • 100 g grated dark chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon sunflower oil
  • ½ tablespoon unsalted butter
Method Cut the baguette or pain brioche in thicken slices In shallow bowl dip bread into coffee and milk; allow soaking for few second on each side. Make the same with the eggs batten. Then remove, shaking off any excess batter. Place the bread on the pan or griddle and grill 2 minutes per side, until golden brown on both sides. Remove and set aside in a warm place. To serve, place four slices on a warm plate and serve immediately with whipped cream and sprinkle with grated chocolate and cinnamon. AddThis Social Bookmark Button
