Quindim

Meanwhile my kitchen is painting I left an easy recipe and very Brazilian dessert. Quindim (Kin Jeem) Lots of eggs and rich dessert

Eggs

I want to apologize for the photos that I took a few months ago, that I didn’t be satisfied with the result. Sorry, but at this moments I don’t have conditions to cook or take good pictures also, and how I want to update this blog that I enjoy I post it, anyway

So, if you like coconut, you'll LOVE this dessert! My husband certainly does

quindim

Ingredients:

  • · 10 egg yolks
  • · 1 grated coconuts or
  • · 1 cup coconut flakes
  • · 2 tablespoon butter
  • · 1 cup sugar

Pass the egg yolks through a strainer to get rid of the skin. Place the sugar and butter in a medium bowl. Beat the mixture until fluffy. Add the coconut and yolk.. Coat a mold with butter and sprinkle with sugar. Shake to remove excess. Pour the mixture slowly in mold an rest about 30 minutes. Heat 1/2 liter of water on top of stove and preheat oven to 350°. . Place the mold in the center of a roasting pan and pour the hot water around it carefully so you don't spill water inside the mold. Bake the quindim in this bain-marie for one hour. Insert a toothpick into quindim; it should come out dry. And the coconut looks golden Brown

.Serve chilled.

Paz , thank you so much
Andrea, o segredo esta em nao bater mas misturar e espera antes de levar ao forno. Dessa forma o coco sobe e fica bem cremoso.

Anthony I´m glad to heard this
