Fresh figs cake

I was preparing this post to publish on last Tuesday . I had the pictures and just had to write the recipe. In the early hours of Friday my mother called  to tell me the sadder news, that my father had passed away, it was tranquil from a sleep to another. I like dedicate this post to him, I inherited  my artistic inspiration. He was a great art director and even a short time ago, he gave me lighting tips and how  should be my photos. He also loved sweets and know he would like this cake.

Mi querida Slvia, siento tanto contigo! Sé como es perder su padre y te mando todos mis buenos pensamientos. El pastel le habría gustado- puedes estar segra.
Un abrazo, Baerbel

I am very happy to read your blog but I am sad as well. I wanted to extend my condolences to you and your family. I'm sure your father would be very happy now where he is. And maybe he did a sneak in the kitchen while your doing the cake ..
