Cream cheese frosting

Cupcakes are getting popular here. I think are the effects of globalization. The recipe for today is about  their frosting  Cupcakes are beautiful and versatile and can have various toppings, such as fondant, whipped cream or this cream cheese frosting . One of my favorites.Besides the flavor I like the consistency and can be scented with any substance that combines with your cupcakes or one that you like most. I leave here this basic recipe, which can be useful for those who do not know about it. Have a wonderful weekend.

  • 226g (8z) packages cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  •  3 cups sifted confectioners' sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract or any other flavor

In a large  bowl, cream together the cream cheese and butter until creamy. Mix in the vanilla, then gradually stir in the confectioners' sugar. Store in the refrigerator  until  use.
